Canada positively surprised me. A quiet environment, communicative people, friendly service in contacts, frankly I liked it!

I remembered that in the sixties Canada had many social and economic problems, due to the coexistence of French and English. The British had

hand the market and finance. The French community since the 17th century was quite numerous, Catholic and had the support of the rural community. They tried a revolution to which

called the "silent revolution" and which ran into British interests.

Two referendums were held, defeating the intentions of the French community.

The French language in the Quebec region is still spoken.

In the sixties of the last century, the publishing house D. Quixote published some notebooks

of which I read two, one about "Quebec" and the other about "Ireland".

Always the eternal question, Catholics against Protestants and vice versa, not forgetting the vile "metal", which was, is and will always be present! Memories of my youth that I remembered...
